Materials Science Room ("this site") handles information about its users as described below.
Personal information
This site has no user registration and does not collect personal information such as names or email addresses for browsing or answering questions.
Data stored in your browser
This site stores your answer records (correct or incorrect, time answered, and session history) and settings such as your chosen language in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can delete it with the reset button on the progress page or by clearing site data in your browser.
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website stores in your browser. This site itself does not use cookies, but the third-party services described below (advertising and analytics) do. You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can still answer the questions with cookies disabled, although the ads you see may change.

We use an external service (Google Forms) for inquiries. Information you enter is used only to reply and to improve this site, and is not provided to third parties except as required by law.
Hosting
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Information such as IP addresses at the time of access is handled by GitHub in accordance with its own policies.
Changes
This policy may be changed when necessary. The revised policy takes effect when it is posted on this page. If this English version differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.
